Pakistan is Homophobic but won’t do anything about Pedophiles.

Pakistan is based on Islamic idealogy. Like any other religion, Homosexuality is also a big No in Islam. Pakistan has always struggled with its reputation. It is the only Muslim country with atomic power. Pakistan’s relationship with the West is controversial. Pakistan is trying to improve its image after 9/11. After a high increase in terrorism in 2010, Pakistan had to re-build its image to not appear as an extremely “Islamist”.

Pakistan struggles a lot when issues like “Equal Rights”, “Homosexuality”. Pakistan is one of the countries that will never allow equal rights and benefits to “Homo-sexuals”. The LGBTQ community is unsafe in Pakistan. They get death threats on daily basis.

I am Muslim myself. A lot of people ask me this question, do you support the LGBTQ community? , it's hard to answer this sort of question when you are part of the Muslim community. I would say I respect everyone. I am not bothered by anybody’s sexuality. It’s that simple, someone’s sexuality is not your business. But , it is tough for Molvis and Islamists to understand. For them, homosexuality is a “sin” and people should be punished harshly for it.

However, there is another “side” that these Islamists choose to ignore is “Pedophilia”. Pedophilia is common in Pakistan. It has become common in Pakistan.
